Quick Facts About Discover Groups
Sometimes it's difficult to develop relationships in the congregational setting. Discover Groups allow individuals to connect in an informal setting and build relationships. Discover Groups gather small numbers of people to meet weekly for spiritual encouragement, study, and ministry. Participation in a Discover Group will help you . . .
- Discover your place in God's church as we each seek to make disciples of Jesus (Matthew 28:19)
- Discover how to apply the Bible to life as you seek to learn and "abide in the word" (John 8:31)
- Discover ways to make your life count by serving others as we "love one another" (John 13:34-35)
Most Discover Groups meet in homes and typically include 12 to 16 adults. Many of our groups have special arrangements to teach or to care for children who attend the group. Weekly meetings include a time of study, prayer, and fellowship to help people become better connected in a spiritual context.
Growth Focus
Multiplication of groups is a key focus. Each group seeks to grow by bringing in new people. Helping Sunday morning guests find a group is a natural focus for growth. Groups can be the most natural way for guests to make connections.
Selecting a Discover Group
We strive to offer a group to meet everyone's needs. In addition to groups that meet on Sunday evenings, we also have groups that meet during the week. Please select a group from the following lists:
