The purpose of the North Atlanta Youth Ministry is to equip students for ministry: to teach them how to follow in the truth of God's Word, to worship God with hunger and passion, and to reach the lost souls of this generation for Christ while seeking to honor Him in everyday life. Our Youth Ministry for sixth through twelfth grades stays busy throughout the year with a combination of service work, fun fellowship, and godly learning. We offer retreats, summer camp and mission trip opportunities to provide experiences for all of our teens both to grow in Christ on their own and to learn how to show Him to the people in their circles of influence.
What is North Atlanta Student Ministries all about?
- The North Atlanta Student Ministries exists to pass on a spiritual heritage to this generation of students. This heritage includes a personal faith in God, belief in Jesus Christ, as well as the understanding and application of scripture.
- The North Atlanta Student Ministries provides a variety of opportunities for students (grades sixth through twelfth) to find and develop their own personal faith in God. These encounters with God, Jesus Christ, and Scripture will occur through quality educational experiences, ministry and service opportunities, praise and worship times, as well as fellowship with other Christians within the ministry. Involvement and interaction within the body of the North Atlanta Church of Christ will also be valued.
- North Atlanta Student Ministries exists to supplement the efforts of families as they teach godly values and morals to this generation of believers.
- Currently, North Atlanta Student Ministries has approximately 240 (sixth through twelfth grades) students comprised of approximately 165 different family units.

Our Core Values @ North Atlanta Student Ministries
God’s Word
We believe the Bible should be the authority and foundation of all that we do (2 Tim. 3:16-17).
Relationships
We believe that life change happens best in the context of loving, Christ-centered relationships (John 13:34-35).
Evangelism
We believe that all students matter to God, and we desire to reach them with the Gospel and lead them toward a relationship with Jesus Christ (Luke 15).
Worship and Prayer
We believe that our ministry exists in and through the power of God and that we will deepen and grow through regular times of worship and prayer (James 5:13).
The Church
We believe that our ministry exists as one part of the Body of Christ and his Church (1 Cor. 12:12).
Family
We believe that healthy family relationships are critical for our students, and they (families) deserve our honor, value, support, and encouragement (Prov. 22:6).

Our Leaders
North Atlanta Student Ministry has an excellent team of adult volunteers and parents who sacrifice their time and energy because of their love for Christ and their love for teenagers. These volunteers devote regular time to teaching in the classroom, sponsoring various events, hosting events in their home, and committing themselves to praying regularly for our program. Justin Bagwell is the Youth Minister at the North Atlanta church of Christ. If you or someone you know would like more information about our ministry to students, please contact the North Atlanta Church of Christ.
