EXCITING NEWS FROM NORTH ATLANTA KIDS!
Big things are happening with North Atlanta Kids! We recently unveiled a new name and logo, and now we are announcing an expanded team to keep building on the work we're doing together for our kids and families.
Savannah Roberts will be transitioning to a part-time role as Kids Minister to make room for an exciting new opportunity. She isn't going anywhere, though. She'll continue shaping the vision and direction of North Atlanta Kids, with a strong presence on Sunday mornings and increased availability over the summer.
To help carry that vision forward, please join us in welcoming three new additions to the North Atlanta Kids team:
Kids Ministry Assistants
Madisyn Guzman — A graduate of Murray State University in Elementary Education, Madisyn has previously taught our 1st Grade Class and served with North Atlanta Preschool. She and her husband AJ are thrilled to be raising their family at North Atlanta and serving alongside our church family with North Atlanta Kids.
Sharon Thomas — A member of North Atlanta since 2010, Sharon spent 10 years as a special education teacher in Gwinnett County schools before staying home to homeschool her own kids, Will (8) and James (6). She's already a familiar face, teaching our 2-Year-Old Class on Sundays and leading our Recovery Ministry’s Love First Boutique.
OTC Kids Coordinator
Jennifer Autry — A member of our Recovery Ministry's No Matter What Squad and a longtime North Atlanta Kids volunteer, Jennifer is mom to Connor (12) and Elijah (6). She has a deep passion for supporting other mothers in recovery.
Have questions or want to get connected? Contact the North Atlanta Kids team at kids@nacofc.org.
We’re so grateful for this incredible team and their heart for the next generation at North Atlanta!
ANCHORED IN GOD’S IMAGE
Join us this Sunday as we continue our Anchored in God’s Image series.
During July and August, we are walking through one of the most important series we have ever undertaken together. It rests on a foundational declaration of Scripture: every human being is made in the image of God. This is not a standard to perform toward, but an identity to live from. In July, we are exploring what it looks like for men to bear that image in the full, generous way Scripture envisions. In August, we will turn to the extraordinary women of Scripture whose wisdom, courage, and faithfulness show us what image-bearing looks like in its complete and beautiful expression. This is not a series about gender roles or cultural debates. Regardless of who you are, it is about recovering a vision of what it means to be fully human before God.
NORTH ATLANTA FALL EVENTS
