ENGAGE

Join us this Sunday at 10:30 am for the next lesson in our ENGAGE series!

What does ENGAGE mean to you? ENGAGE might bring to mind a commitment between two people to marry or the way transmission gears work together to make a car move. To engage means to join with someone or something. But what does it mean for Christ-followers to engage, and why does it matter?

For decades, churches in America were characterized by engagement. People were expected to serve, give, volunteer, share the gospel, support each other, and sacrifice. But over the past four decades, attendance and giving have become the measures of church engagement. This minimum-engagement model has left the church weak and believers deeply dissatisfied.

People are made for more than attendance! We are created in Christ Jesus to engage with God, each other, and the world around us for the mission of the gospel and the glory of God. Our theme for 2025, ENGAGE, will call us to the abundant life of deep discipleship. Our theme passage for 2025 is Acts 2:42-47, our model for engagement!
