NASM MISSIONS BAKE SALE

Bring your appetites and your wallets to the FEC Atrium after worship on Sunday, February 8th to support the NASM Missions Bake Sale! Come ready to buy mouthwatering homemade cakes, pies, breads, brownies, cookies, cupcakes, and more!

LOVE FIRST LUNCH

INTERPRETING SCRIPTURE WORKSHOP

Join us on Saturday, February 28th, from 9 am to 12 pm in Room 115 for a workshop on reading and interpreting Scripture. Led by Zane McGee, this practical study will help us grow in our ability to dig deeply into God’s Word and apply what we learn to our contemporary context.

Zane holds a Ph.D. in New Testament from Emory University and, along with his family, has been part of the North Atlanta family for many years.

BUS DRIVERS NEEDED!

Have a little time and want to make a big impact? 

We’re looking for both CDL and non-CDL drivers to help transport members of our Recovery family to and from worship on Sunday mornings.

NACM NEEDS YOUR HELP!

The North Atlanta Children’s Ministry has several important volunteer needs right now. Please consider joining us in this vital work as we help our children grow in faith together!

Substitute Bible Class Teachers (Sundays, 9:30-10:15 am)

Help step in when a teacher is sick or out of town by joining our substitute list! Curriculum is provided, and lessons are prepared in advance. Each classroom has multiple teachers, and substitutes help ensure our classes continue smoothly and consistently.

Volunteers During Worship (Sundays, 10:30-11:30 am)

Serve during Children’s Worship, Preschool Worship, with our two-year-olds, or in the nursery during worship! There are opportunities for a variety of gifts, including leading Children’s Worship, assisting with children who need extra support, and helping to staff our youngest classrooms. Curriculum is provided, and lessons are prepared in advance. Join our monthly rotation or serve occasionally during the semester.

Wednesday Night Volunteers (Wednesdays, 6:45-8:15 pm)

Serve as part of the OTC Kids team as we play, connect, and grow together! Join our monthly rotation or serve less frequently.

BABY SHOWER FOR MARISSA BARKER

Ladies, join us for a baby shower honoring Marissa Barker on Saturday, February 7th, from 11 am to 1 pm at the home of Melissa Shepard (4622 Club Circle NE, Atlanta, GA 30319). Marissa and Vince are expecting a girl, and they are registered at Amazon.

CONDOLENCES TO THE WARE FAMILY

We express our heartfelt sympathy and love to the Ware family following the passing of Tyshawn Carwell, grandson of Steve’s sister, Carol. Tyshawn was 27 years old. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 7th, in Charleston, WV. Please keep the entire family in your prayers during this very difficult time.

CONDOLENCES TO THE REYNOLDS FAMILY

We extend our deepest love and condolences to Cassie Reynolds and her family following the passing of Cassie’s mother, Cassandra Parker, on January 27th in Conyers, GA. Cassie previously served as Children’s Minister at North Atlanta. A private memorial service for Ms. Parker will be held later this year. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Georgia Agape or Rainbow Omega. Please be in prayer for Cassie and the entire Reynolds family during this time of loss.

Children’s Ministry

FAMILY SUNDAY

This Sunday is Family Sunday! While Children's Worship and Preschool Worship will not meet, Family Bags will be available with an activity for children to enjoy during our worship service. You can pick up a Family Bag from your child's Bible class or the stand in HeBrews. Additional children’s resources can also be found in HeBrews.

A staffed nursery will still be available for children ages two and under during worship.

CHILDREN’S BIBLE CLASSES

Please join us for engaging Bible classes tailored to each age group every Sunday morning from 9:30 to 10:15 am! Please visit the Children’s Check-In Desk to learn more and get started!

Nursery Classes: Our youngest children receive attentive and compassionate care while learning about God and his creation through songs and play.

Preschool Class: Our preschool children (ages 3+) use the First Look curriculum and learn three powerful truths: God made them, God loves them, and Jesus is their friend.

Elementary Classes: Using the 252 Kids curriculum, our elementary children learn how to grow in their relationship with Jesus through stories from the Old and New Testaments.

THYME 4 FRIENDS

Come join us for Thyme 4 Friends on the second Monday of each month from 1:30 to 3 pm in Room 101 (near the undercover parking entrance). All senior adults and adults with special needs are invited to share in the fun as we play interactive mind and memory games – with prizes! Thyme 4 Friends provides socialization, stimulation, and support for people who know that life gets better with age. Caregivers are encouraged to participate, or they can also drop off/pick up. This special once-per-month program is hosted in partnership with NACC and offered free of charge. Online Community

Join Us for Online Worship!

The North Atlanta Online Community is an important ministry of our church family that is devoted to those who worship with us each Sunday outside of our physical church building. Our online worship experience is beautifully connected with our in-person worship each week, and the Online Community has been designed to provide warmth, connection, and engagement for all who join us online. Whether you need to be away from our in-person gathering because of travel, illness, or any other reason, there is always an online “pew” and a heartfelt greeting waiting for you at live.nacofc.org.
