THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY SCHEDULE

As we celebrate the Thanksgiving holiday, we’re taking a brief pause from some of our regular events to give our families and volunteers time to rest and enjoy this special time of year. Please note our adjusted schedule below:

Sunday, 11/23 – No Bible Classes; Family Sunday (all ages worship together)
Wednesday, 11/26 – No Wednesday Gatherings
Thursday & Friday, 11/27-28 – Church Office Closed
Sunday, 11/30 – Family Sunday (all ages worship together)

As we enter this season of gratitude, we pause to give thanks to God for His blessings and for the gift of our North Atlanta family.

THANKS TO ALL WHO HELPED WITH SUCCESS ACADEMY!

It takes an entire village to make an event like Success Academy possible! This three-day work readiness workshop helped 19 participants regain the confidence to enter the workforce and be productive members of society.

Thank you to everyone who donated items from our Amazon Wish List, and to those who donated clothing, shoes, jewelry, snacks, and more. Thank you to everyone who volunteered by transporting participants, organizing donations, setting up and breaking down tables and chairs, or serving as presenters and mock interviewers. And thank you to everyone who sent prayers and positive vibes. A very special thank you to Christa Kendrick, Missy Taylor, and Kaitlyn Smith-Chisolm for their fantastic work in multiple areas.

We appreciate every single one of you!

JINGLE JAM

Join us on Sunday, December 7th, at 10:30 am for Jingle Jam—a Christmas Family Sunday worship service for our entire North Atlanta family!

Together, we will worship in song and hear the story of the birth of our Savior—with a whole lot of fun along the way!

After worship, stick around for Christmas fellowship, festivities, and food. You won’t want to miss this special morning at North Atlanta!

NORTH ATLANTA COAT DRIVE

Join us in helping members of our community stay warm this winter by participating in our annual North Atlanta Coat Drive! We are collecting new and gently used coats for men, women, and children.

Please donate coats in one of the collection bins around our building on Sunday mornings or place them in the bin outside the church office on weekdays.

You may also order coats from online retailers such as WalmartTarget, or Amazon and have them shipped directly to the church office (North Atlanta Church of Christ, Attn: Jasmine Turner, 5676 Roberts Dr, Dunwoody, GA 30338).

The deadline to donate coats is Tuesday, December 2nd.

HELP FEED OUR COMMUNITY!

We have an important opportunity to meet real needs in our community—and we need YOUR help!

We are collecting non-perishable food items (canned goods, pasta, rice, boxed cereal, peanut butter, and baking goods) in the blue bins located in the FEC Atrium.

All food collected through Sunday, November 30th, will go directly to two of our partner programs currently in great need – Mary Hall Freedom Village and Right Side Up.

All additional food collected through December 31st will be given to the Community Assistance Center in Sandy Springs, which we also support each year through One Heart.

Thank you for helping us share love and hope with families during this moment of need! If you are in need during this season, please reach out to membersupport@nacofc.org.

WEEKLY PRAYER GATHERING

Beginning December 4th, join us each Thursday at 12:00 pm in the Main Auditorium for a time of prayer together. Led by Callie Turner, these gatherings are open to everyone as we lift up our church, community, country, and world in prayer.

All are welcome! Come as you are able—whether weekly or occasionally—and join your voice with ours in collective prayer.

TOGETHER FOR COMMUNITY

Join us this Sunday as we continue our Together for Community series.

Imagine discovering Jesus and coming to accept, over time, that his love is real, dependable, and trustworthy. Now imagine realizing that Jesus has a vision for a unified world rooted in that same love. This vision begins with a movement of people, his followers, who collectively love each other and the world the same way he loves them.

In this series, we’re exploring Jesus’ vision for how a unified church impacts the community through collective love and service beyond our walls. This is how we take the life-giving gospel to the world together.
