WELCOME, SAVANNAH ROBERTS!
We’re excited to share that Savannah Roberts officially began her work this week as Children & Family Minister at North Atlanta! Many of you have already connected with the Roberts family at various events over the past several months, and now we’re thrilled to welcome Savannah, David, Turner, and Merrick into the daily life of our church.
Savannah has a deep heart for helping children come to know God and for walking alongside families as they grow in faith together. She comes to us with years of experience in both ministry and teaching, and we’re eager to see how God works through her in this new season at North Atlanta!
Please join us in welcoming Savannah to our church family, and make sure to reach out if you’re interested in serving with our children’s ministry! You can contact her at savannah.roberts@nacofc.org.
NO BIBLE CLASSES THIS SUNDAY
We hope you enjoy time with family and friends this Independence Day! Bible Classes will not meet on Sunday, July 6th, due to the holiday weekend. We invite you to join us in person or online (CLICK HERE) for a wonderful time of worship at 10:30 am!
CONGREGATIONAL SURVEY: WOMEN AS ELDERS
We invite you to participate in an important conversation about women serving as elders in our church.
For more than 25 years, North Atlanta has studied the role of women in the life, leadership, and ministry of our church with great care and intentionality. In 2019, after an extensive period of congregational study, our elders affirmed that it is in alignment with God’s will for women to serve in all ministry and leadership roles at North Atlanta, except the role of elder. They also committed to continued study of this issue moving forward.
As part of that journey, we are conducting a congregational survey to hear your perspectives and beliefs about women serving as elders. Your responses will help us better understand who we are today and how the Spirit of God is at work among us.
CLICK HERE to complete the survey. Please submit responses by this Sunday, July 6th, at 11:59 pm.
We also invite you to continue this conversation by reaching out to members of our Leadership Team – elders, Governance Council members, and staff – with thoughts or questions. As always, we remain grounded in Scripture and guided by the Holy Spirit as we seek God’s will together.

STAY SAFE FROM EMAIL SCAMS
Recently, we’ve heard that some of our members have received fraudulent emails pretending to be from church staff members or leaders. These messages ask for gift cards, money, or urgent favors.
It is always wise to practice safe email habits—even with messages that appear to be from people you know and love.
Please remember these important guidelines:
Official church communications will always come from an @nacofc.org email address.
Our staff members and leaders will never ask you to purchase gift cards or send money on behalf of the church.
If you receive a suspicious email, mark it as Spam or Phishing in your email client and then delete it.
If you are unsure about an email, contact the church office directly to verify it.
GATHER AND GROW
Join us this Sunday as we continue our Gather and Grow series.
What does it mean to be part of a local church? Jesus said, “On this rock I will build my church.” He is still building his church, and we are also engaged in its construction.
In Jesus’ vision, the church is a classroom filled with students, and it is always both the student and the teacher. The church is full of people in need of transformation, and the Holy Spirit lives within it – constantly transforming us into the people we were meant to be.
As we gather, we come to be part of the transformation of others, and we are prepared to be transformed as well.
