Living To Invite
“Come to me all who are weary, and bring your heavy burdens to me, and I will give you rest.” It took some people a minute to believe that all in Jesus’ invitation included them. But Jesus’ intentional lifestyle made it clear that his invitation truly means all—including the woman at the well, Zacchaeus, Mary Magdalene, Peter, the thief on the cross, and us.
As we enter the holiday season and focus on the birth of Christ, our final sermon series of the year will explore the invitation God sent into the world through His one and only Son. We will also reflect on our commissioning as ambassadors of that invitation, calling all to come to Him and find rest for our souls.
