WEEKLY EVENTS
“OFF THE CHAIN” – Co-ed 12 Step Spiritual Support Group
Wednesdays at 7:00 PM in the main auditorium
Off the chain is a 12 step Christian support group. We meet to share our experience, strength and hope in order to find freedom from our compulsions and grow closer to Jesus Christ, our Healer. We recover by being honest with others and ourselves. The desire to recover from our addictions, whatever they may be, bind us together so that we might become willing to admit our wrongs and deal with others as we would have them deal with us. This program is for those who have found it necessary to change. It is only through God’s power that we can hope for a life that is joyous and free. We retain confidentiality and anonymity to protect the rights of those in our group. We recognize that each one of us is a unique human being and that our acceptance in this group is based solely on our desire to recover.
Recovery Bible Studies
Women - Sundays 7:00 PM | Men - Sundays 8:30 AM
We have both women and men small bible study groups where we study bible lessons and have open discussion on how it relates to recovery.
One on One Spiritual mentoring
Via zoom, google meets or telephone
A spiritual mentor's primary role is to help lead another individual to a saving knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ while supporting the structure of the addiction recovery process. This relationship not only allows one to disciple another, but to also open up and share their lives as well.
1 Thessalonians 2:8 "Because we loved you so much, we were delighted to share with you not only the gospel of God but our lives as well."
SUCCESS ACADEMY RECAP
It takes an entire village to chip in and help pull off an event like Success Academy, a 2-day work readiness workshop that helped nine participants find their confidence again to go out into the workforce and be productive members of society. Thank you to everyone that donated clothing, shoes, laptops, snacks, etc. Thank you to everyone who took time to volunteer by transporting participants, organizing donations, setting up and breaking tables and chairs, being presenters and mock interviewers. Thank you to everyone who sent prayers and positive vibes. Also, a very special thank you to Missy Taylor for being fantastic in several areas. I appreciate every single one of you.

OUR PARTNERS
Our recovery ministry is a proactive ministry that wholeheartedly supports individuals with any addiction issues. Some of the residential treatment programs and sober living communities that ANCHOR partners with are Mary Hall Freedom House, MARR’s Right Side Up program (DeKalb and Fulton locations),P.A.C.E INC and Hope Recovery Resources. We are grateful to work with each program to help support the spiritual needs of each community.
***It is important to note that all people who struggle with addiction issues are welcomed and will be supported by our ministry, not just those who are in the above programs.***
