MORE LIKE JESUS
Adult Discipleship ON Sundays at 10:30 a.m.
2021 October - December
We are excited to be able to return to some familiar discipleship rhythms this fall in our on-campus and online Bible classes!
Our aim is to grow to be “More like Jesus” – in every way. There’s an old song written by J.M. Stillman that expresses the heart of the disciple:
I want to be more like Jesus, and follow him day by day;
I want to be true and faithful, And ev’ry command obey.
More and more like Jesus, I would ever be;
More and more like Jesus, my Savior who died for me.
Beginning Sunday, October 3rd at 10:30 a.m. we will begin offering the following classes:
Seniors and Friends of Seniors (Room 101):
Discipleship is following Jesus and always being willing to be open to growth and change.
Dr. Jerrund and Connie Wilkerson will lead this class using the fall theme: “More like Jesus.” The aim will be to study the life of Jesus in the Gospels to see how he loved people so that we can know him better and follow him more closely.Latino Bible Class (Room 104 and Zoom):
This class will answer the question, “What does it mean to be a disciple of Jesus?” Part of that answer is: “A Christian disciple is a person who accepts and collaborates in spreading the good news of Jesus Christ.” This class will be taught in Spanish by Dr. Nelson Galarraga.
