The Success Academy will be a 2-day workshop held quarterly for a select group of participants in our recovery ministry. There will be an application process where applicants will have to answer questions and write a one page paper sharing why they want to attend and how this would benefit them moving forward in their life journey. Sessions will focus on skills needed to be successful when entering the workforce such as how to format and structure a resume, have proper interview etiquette, how to use Microsoft Office, building your own brand, budget effectively, dress for success and more.
We appreciate your wonderful response to our Amazon Wishlist! We also have two more ways to help in addition to the wishlist. We are in need of gently used laptops during this and for future academies. We are also need gently used business casual clothing, shoes, and jewelry to help the participants Dress For Success upon completion of academy!
There are two drop-off bins at the church through September 30th. One right outside the church offices (Mon-Fri 9 am-3 pm) and one in the main lobby.
