Recovery Ministry Volunteer Training

Join us for our annual Recovery Ministry Volunteer Training on Saturday, June 8th from 9 am to 12 pm in Room 115! God has uniquely positioned our Recovery Ministry to love and disciple so many people, and we need your help to continue that legacy of faithfulness and compassion!

All current Recovery Ministry volunteers are encouraged to attend this training event, and we also invite anyone interested to begin serving in the Recovery Ministry to join us as well! Whether you can serve as an individual mentor, a bus driver, a Sunday morning teacher or assistant teacher, or onsite at one of our partner programs once a month, you will make an impact!

Success Academy

Success Academy is an excellent opportunity for those in our Recovery Ministry to grow their job readiness skills. Session topics will include resume writing, interview etiquette, Microsoft Office apps, building your own brand, budgeting, and more! Success Academy

The Success Academy will be a 2-day workshop held quarterly for a select group of participants in our recovery ministry. There will be an application process where applicants will have to answer questions and write a one page paper sharing why they want to attend and how this would benefit them moving forward in their life journey. Sessions will focus on skills needed to be successful when entering the workforce such as how to format and structure a resume, have proper interview etiquette, how to use Microsoft Office, building your own brand, budget effectively, dress for success and more.

We appreciate your wonderful response to our Amazon Wishlist! We also have two more ways to help in addition to the wishlist. We are in need of gently used laptops during this and for future academies. We are also need gently used business casual clothing, shoes, and jewelry to help the participants Dress For Success upon completion of academy!

There are two drop-off bins at the church through September 30th. One right outside the church offices (Mon-Fri 9 am-3 pm) and one in the main lobby.
