Fentanyl and Georgia Community Conversation

Fentanyl is ravaging communities across Georgia. In its wake, fentanyl leaves complex and emotional issues of policy that must be addressed.

So, it’s time for Georgia to have a conversation with diverse voices to seek solutions to the fentanyl epidemic together.

Join the Georgia Council for Recovery and the North Atlanta Recovery Ministry on Monday, November 18th at 6 pm in Room 115 for a community conversation about the fentanyl epidemic.

Help Assemble Narcan Kits

Help Assemble Narcan Kits

Join us on Saturday, November 9th at 10 am in Room 115 as we work with Georgia Overdose Prevention to assemble Naloxone (Narcan) kits that will be distributed throughout Georgia. Naloxone can reverse a narcotic overdose in an emergency, and to date, 11,824 lives have been saved in our state alone by these kits. Let’s work together to make more of these lifesaving kits available across the state of Georgia!

Our annual Recovery Sunday is September 1st, and we hope you will make plans to join us for a special time of worship at 10:30 am, followed by a wonderful time of food, fellowship, and fun from 11:45 am to 2:30 pm!

This year, we are excited to once again host the Georgia Recovers tour bus as it makes its first stop on its journey across Georgia during National Recovery Month (September) to raise awareness about recovery!

Everyone from our church family and surrounding community is invited to join us for this special day! Don’t miss this incredible opportunity to celebrate recovery together at North Atlanta!

WRAP Training

Join the North Atlanta Recovery Ministry for Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) training on Thursday, July 25th and Friday, July 26th from 9 am to 1 pm in Room 115! This training is helpful for individuals in recovery, as well as those who are allies, loved ones, or volunteers in recovery communities.

Wellness Recovery Action Plan is a simple and powerful process that helps individuals to create and maintain the life and wellness they desire for themselves. The WRAP process supports individuals in identifying the tools that keep them well and creating action plans to put into practice in everyday life. WRAP assists in incorporating key recovery concepts, wellness tools, and plans that allow individuals to gain support and stay in control – even in a crisis.
